Astronomy AAST

We earthlings are but specs floating in space, trying to understand its beauty, wonder, and almost infinite possibilities. Astronomy is one branch of many sciences that help us figure out the world around us. It is the oldest yet the youngest science of them all; it has been studied since ancient times, but only recently have we truly come to understand the physics that drives the universe. Founded in 2016, the Astronomy Club at AAST-Sheraton aims to build a community that understands the science, the universe and astronomical events. We do that by providing fun and challenging opportunities for students to broaden their knowledge of astronomy through creating simple and joyful activities including events, movie screenings, and public talks.
