AAT Composites (Pty) Ltd is a High-Technology Design and Manufacturing Company specializing in Performance Composite Parts for the Aviation and Automotive industries. AAT Composites has strong international links with the controlling shareholder being Recaro-AS International GmbH and exporting 100 % of its product to Europe and the USA. It is therefore very able and experienced in the supply of product, as well as customer support, in Europe and elsewhere. For over 30 years AAT Composites gained experience in designing and manufacturing of high performance products using composite materials and established itself as preferred partner in different industries. After expansion into international markets AAT Composites developed the carbon fibre backrests for the Concorde and is nowadays developing several interior products for aircraft and main design parts for the high-end automotive industry. With an AS/EN 9100 and IS09001 accredited Quality Management System, the Company ensures quality checks on the highest standards. Located in South Africa, AAT offers best working conditions and refers to strict security, safety and health policies. With a direct manufacturing personnel workforce of ± 400 the company’s moulding capacity is more than 3000 mouldings per week. Furthermore AAT Composites refers to LEAN manufacturing principles and associated value stream analysis and is able to process up to 2000kg of prepreg per week.
