AAU Arctic

AAU Arctic is the cross-faculty platform for cooperation and coordination of the many Arctic research projects at Aalborg University. It is also a driver for collaboration with and between Arctic researcher, students, communities, NGOs and businesses. We work explicitly with a sustainability and climate agenda to help foster a responsible development in the Arctic. The geographical area of interest for AAU Arctic is the Circumpolar North (incl. Greenland, the Faroe Islands, the northern parts of Scandinavia, Canada, Alaska and Russia, the North Atlantic and the Polar Sea). AAU ARCTIC ACTIVITIES The portfolio of AAU Arctic activities includes: Hosting of research seminars Networking activities Dissemination of arctic research e.g. through publication of articles and hosting of seminars Facilitation of strategic cooperation with external partners Coordination of fundraising for research projects
