AAZER

AAZER is a web and mobile app where all of us invest small amount of money each month to change the lives of people we know every month. This create a fund that is accessible to AAZER members in order to fund different solidarity aid initiatives each month all over the world. The solidarity aid initiatives are proposed, chosen, funded, and executed solely by AAZER members through a democratic voting process. • Winner of The Do School Seed fund award, 2017. • Finalist in the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) 2017, Business plan competition, first Egyptian startup to reach the finals. • Semi-Finalist in the MIT Arab Business plan competition, 2017 • Incubated by The Do School in Berlin for 4 months. How does it work? When joining AAZER, everyone puts in a monthly donation anywhere from 1 to 25 dollars. This will be the platform’s sustainable fund for solidarity aid initiatives. Solidarity aid initiatives are proposed by the members of AAZER themselves. Then, through a monthly voting process, all the members of AAZER vote on how to distribute the fund based on the most needed solidarity aid initiatives. Money is then distributed to top-voted solidarity initiatives until all the money available for the month is used.
