AB Diagnostic Systems GmbH is a biotechnology company founded in 2010 with the vision to evolve in-vitro-diagnostics. We felt a profound need for fundamental improvements towards more usability, simplicity and ecological sustainability in medical testing processes. This call became our objective.
abia®, our flagship product line includes a range of diagnostic kits for HIV, hepatitis infections, prenatal diagnostics (TORCH), hormones (thyroid, fertility), tumor markers and more. Our kits have been designed to improve the clinical testing work routine in blood banks and diagnostic labs – to save you time, effort, money and refrigerator space. No other kit can compete with the workflow, overview, and storability that abia provides.
All tests are ‚Made in Germany‘ in compliance with European standards and directive 98/79/EC on in-vitro-diagnostic medical devices.
Our headquarters and production facility is located in Berlin-Adlershof, the »Silicon Valley of life sciences« in Germany. A passionate team of more than 30 employees is working here with enthusiastic creativity and almost pathological perfectionism. Enable us to produce up to 1 million plates a year, achieving homogeneous batch sizes of up to 5000 plates.
