Abasyn University

Established in 2009 through a Legislative Provisional Assembly of KPK, Abasyn University is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Pakistan. It is the only institution in KPK to be awarded category ‘W’ in the old ranking system by HEC, which was the highest category awarded to any institution at that time. However, due to the support of its sponsors and staff, as well as by the grace of Allah, Abasyn University has been able to upgrade from category ‘W’ to ‘W3’ in the new ranking system. Abasyn University Islamabad Campus (AUIC) began its operations in 2012, with HEC's approval, and is committed to providing quality education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The campus has grown significantly over the years, in terms of the number of students and degree programs offered. Its high standards and reputation have attracted students from all over the country. Located in Chak Shahzad Islamabad, the campus offers state-of-the-art facilities and has hired highly qualified teaching and non-teaching staff. It has established fully-equipped labs with advanced technologies and tools. Additionally, the campus has a well-stocked library that provides access to digital research databases, e-journals, e-books, and e-reports. Abasyn University offers degree programs in various disciplines, including Engineering, Computing, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Rehabilitation & Health Sciences, and Technology. The degree programs offered by the campus are accredited by relevant accreditation bodies. The BS Computer Science and BS Software Engineering programs are accredited by the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), while the BE Civil Engineering and BE Electrical Engineering programs are accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The Pharm-D program is accredited by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP).
