Founded in the XIIth century, the Benedictine abbey of Sainte-Marie de Longues is an exceptional testimony to Norman religious life in the Middle Ages, but also to its architecture and decorative arts.
The restorations undertaken since the last century have made it a jewel of Norman heritage, leading to its classification as a Historical Monument in 2006.
