Abdulrahman`s Oasis (Child Life Association) is a nonprofit organization founded in memory of the late Abdulrahman Fahd Thunayan Al-Thunayan. After his passing, his parents sought to honor his legacy with a charitable initiative that would serve ailing children.
The mission of the association mirrors Abdulrahman's personal qualities. Those who knew Abdulrahman often spoke of his deep humanity, his empathetic nature, his compassion, and his intrinsic desire to do good from his early years until his untimely departure.
Recognizing a societal need, this association aims to promote the importance of children's well-being and empowerment. We aim to offer educational and training programs in collaboration with national and international hospitals and academic institutes to cultivate expertise in this vital field, ensuring its enduring impact on the community.
تأسست جمعیة حیاة الطفل/ واحة عبدالرحمن بعد وفاة الشاب عبدالرحمن بن فهد بن ثنیان الثنیان في مقتبل عمره؛ حیث أراد والدیه تخلید ذکراه بعمل خیري یعود له بالثواب ویعم نفعه للأطفال المرضی شفاهم الله وأسرهم..
وقد اختیر هذا التخصص لما فیه من تشابه لشخصیة عبدالرحمن رحمه الله فمن یعرف عبدالرحمن یذهل بالبعد الإنساني الذي تتمحور علیه شخصیة هذا الشاب ونظرته الإنسانیة للآخرین وعطفه وحبه الخیر منذ نعومة أظفاره حتی رحیله وحاجة المجتمع لمثل هذه الجمعیة التي تهتم بنشر ثقافة حیاة الطفل وتمکین أخصائیات حیاة الطفل ببرامج التعلیم والتدریب بالتعاون مع مستشفیات وجامعات محلیة ودولیة لتهیئة الکوادر الوطنیة وضمان استدامة هذا التخصص الإنساني.
