Aberdeenshire rugby club have a long and prosperous history dating back to 1875, making us one of Scotland's oldest clubs.
we currently have 2 senior mens teams, our 1XV are in the Tennent's Caledonia Region League 1, and have the goal to be back playing in the national leagues in the near future.
The 2XV is our social team which over the recent years has struggled to keep going but with the support of the club seen the return of the Super Twa's into Tennent's Caledonia North Region Division 3 in 2022 with the goal to supporting our 1XV as a feeder team and for enjoying the social aspects of the sport.
The women's 1XV are a formidable side and currently dominating the Tennent's Caledonia North Region League 1, with a similar goal to the men's 1XV of playing National level rugby in the near future.
2023 has seen the launch of our youth section with a newly appointed Youth Development Officer Paul Harrow leading the charge, he has quickly set up programmes that is bringing rugby to our catchment area schools and starting rugby camps from easter 2023, this will pave the way for weekly training sessions ranging from primary 1 through to U18s.
In previous years the club has achieved several League title's and seen our Men's 1XV winning the National Bowl at Murrayfiled in 2018, this gave us our platform to build the club back to its former glory, where we deserve to be.
Based at Woodside Sports Complex (The Fortress) with our very own clubhouse and bar why would you go anywhere else, we welcome anyone to join us of any age or gender, join our big cat family and play rugby the shire way.
