"Abhath" is an independent non-profit organization that connects donors with research centers and researchers to increase the number of research and raise the level of scientific outputs and innovations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This is achieved by enhancing funding opportunities provided from both public and private donors and streamlining access for researchers to these resources.
Our mission aligns with Saudi Vision 2040, aiming to increase national spending on research and innovation to 2.5% of GDP.
جمعية "أبحاث" هي منظمة غير ربحية مرخصة من المركز الوطني لتنمية القطاع غير الربحي وتعمل تحت إشراف مدينة الملك عبد العزيز للعلوم والتقنية. تهدف الجمعية إلى تعزيز البحث العلمي والابتكار من خلال دورها كوسيط فعال بين المتبرعين ومراكز الأبحاث والباحثين، حيث تعمل على تعزيز فرص التمويل المقدمة من المانحين في القطاعين العام والخاص، وتسهيل وصول الباحثين إلى هذه الفرص مع ضمان التوزيع العادل والفعال لهذه الموارد.
تسعى الجمعية إلى رفع مستوى الأبحاث العلمية وزيادة الابتكارات، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2040، التي تهدف إلى رفع نسبة الإنفاق على البحث والابتكار إلى 2.5% من إجمالي الناتج المحلي.
