The Abigail E. Keller Foundation contributes to the community by helping medically fragile children and their families by providing resources for programs that support these families throughout their special journey. The children and families that benefit from the Foundation seek friendship, support, guidance, resources, and more as they navigate life with medical and physical challenges.
The Foundation supports programs in partnership with the Dell Children’s Medical Center; Comprehensive Care Clinic and the Palliative/Hospice At Home program. These clinics provide many services for children who are fighting serious illnesses, disabilities and are at end-of-life.
The Abigail E. Keller Foundation provides direct family financial assistance grants, family care baskets when their child enters the hospice service and personalized birthdays to any child that is in hospice. These programs directly support these children and families during a most difficult time.
The Foundation aspires to open a pediatric respite/hospice facility. There is nothing like this currently available in Texas for families needing respite care and/or end-of-life services for their children.
