Abir Foundation

We are a family-run foundation focused on investing in mission driven enterprises in India. We partner with our portfolio companies to define their growth strategy and provide funding to operationalize the strategy. Abir Academy is our first portfolio company. Abir Academy is a mission driven school backed by ‘Abir Foundation’. Abir is a Hebrew name which means ‘Brave’. Our mission is to provide world class education to children and guide them to become brave and responsible citizens of the world. We aspire to help our students excel in their academics as well as help them understand that there is a great big world out there – the world outside their neighbourhood, outside of their village/ town/ city, state, and country; and the opportunities for them are limitless. We deliver on our mission by adopting the Montessori philosophy – a child-centered approach to education.
