Ablaze is an independent charity that exists to tackle inequality of opportunity for young people in the West of England. We do this by providing a vital bridge between businesses and young people, facilitating meaningful connections and opportunities.
Who do we support?
We deliver meaningful experiences for young people in our region who are under-served, under-estimated, disengaged and lacking social collateral. We aim to mitigate the crisis in skills, attainment and confidence facing this group.
How it works:
We use businesses as a tool to connect young people with the real world of work, offering opportunities for businesses to engage with their local community and achieve social value targets.
Our goal:
To support young people on their journey towards meaningful employment through a variety of interventions that utilise the skills, insight and guidance of our volunteers.
Our aims:
> To raise young people’s confidence and aspirations.
> To support attainment and skill levels at school.
> To empower young people with knowledge to make informed choices about their future.
