ABM Contractors Pty Ltd is an Underground Mining Contractor which was founded in 2000 by Keven Abraham. ABM's core work is Secondary Support and Ventilation Installation but also specialises in Fault Drivage, Fall Recovery, Belt and Drive head installations and Underground roadworks and road recovery's. ABM comes with a strong hard rock background through Keven Abraham who started his underground career in the 70's in New Zealand's Turangi tunnels. From here Keven then relocated to Australia and followed the hard rock circuit all over Australia, Cobar, Mudgee, Cook-town, Snowy mountains, Perisher, Proserpine and the list goes on. Keven was also Superintendent at the Eastern Distributor tunnel in Sydney. ABM is based in Emerald Qld, and currently holds contracts at Kestrel North and Kestrel South mines and BMA Crinum mine all in Emerald. ABM currently employees approximately 140 people across all sites and head office.
