Abodi Transylvania is deeply rooted in history, myth and artistry. Founded by visionary designer Dora Abodi, whose noble Secler heritage dates back to the 16th century when her family was granted nobility by Prince István Báthori, the brand channels the mystique of Transylvania. Inspired by the region's legends, folklore and mythology, including the infamous Elisabeth Báthori, whose dark connection to vampire folklore echoes through Abodi's work, the brand blends history with the fantastic.
Abodi's cosmos brings to life mythical creatures such as the brand's icon, the Unisus, a four-headed dragon, the Cat Mermaid, the Animal Soul, an eternal night creature: The Vampyr, the Moon and Sun King and Time Travellers, all captured in sculptural garments, ceramics and illustrations.
Abodi is more than just fashion - it is a constantly evolving art project. The famous ABODI Vampire Castle headpiece, created for Jaden Smith, made waves and turned heads on the red carpet at the 67. Grammy Awards in February 2025.
