The Aboriginal Women’s Advisory Network (AWAN) was created to support Closing the Gap (Target 13) initiatives to reduce family violence and abuse against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children. Our program is auspiced by Wirringa Baiya Aboriginal Women’s Legal Centre. Our program is led by and for Aboriginal women.
