Absolute Concept Designs (ACD) is a small Engineering Service Provider that generates innovative solutions for multiple industries and applications. We take a client's idea through an iterative Engineering Design Process to create detailed designs for live testing and/or production planning. We provide professional experience in multiple DOD related areas plus, conceptual design, reverse engineering and dynamic structural analysis in other industries as well. As a DOD Contractor, our CEO is experienced in both Armored Vehicle and Occupant Survivability through dynamic structure analysis studies for multple Military Vehicles in the field today. These skills were gained by directly supporting the GVSC (US Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center) developing vehicle designs for IED or underbody blast events using LS-Dyna. Applying this background allows the team to simultaneously conduct blast (dynamic or high impulse) event testing in house to create/modify new vehicle concepts that are able to mitigate or dampenthe blast forces through the iterative design process. Conceptual Design Development is acquired through practice and more practice. Working directly with customers from multiple industries allows the team to create design concepts in various engineering areas that perform specific tasks. Although, not all developed concepts make it to a detailed CAD model and onto Analysis, Prototyping, or even Production, each one must go through the design process carefully. However, the most important aspect of developing Conceptual Designs is the ability to start seeing the design while the development process hones the design into a feasible solution. Reverse Engineering or Metrology can be conducted in many ways, we have an extended background that consists of Reverse Engineering hundreds of single components, to small assemblies and even entire armored vehicles. As well as multiple types of Aircraft with several light and laser scanning technologies.
