The Design Lab for Acute Care Alberta is a diverse, multidisciplinary team of design practitioners committed to driving healthcare innovation in Alberta. We collaborate with professionals across the healthcare system, breaking down silos to foster change, shift mindsets, and spark creative problem-solving. By enhancing existing toolsets and championing human-centred design, we strive to build a more accessible, sustainable, and equitable healthcare system. Our approach integrates human-centred design, systems thinking, equity and inclusion, and strategic execution—delivering comprehensive and person-centric solutions to complex challenges.
