AcadaWorks is an online student job one-stop hub that connects Nigerian tertiary institution students to the MSME job market in the country and vice versa. AcadaWorks also connects students on the platform to ace mentors, subject matter experts (SMEs) and training providers to help equip them with vital skills to thrive on the job. We aspire to become the foremost human capital development platform for the vibrant youth population in Nigeria by equipping students with paid entrepreneurial apprenticeships to prepare them for the job market. Our mission is to fill essential job-readiness skill gaps in the curriculum of tertiary institutions by improving the access of Nigerian students to paid entrepreneurial apprenticeships to prepare them for the job market. This mission is informed by the dwindling employability of Nigerian tertiary institution students emanating from poor emphasis on soft and practical skills crucial for job competencies. It is important to us to solve this problem to help reinforce human capital development in Nigeria as an underpinning means to achieving her sustainable development goals.
