I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. I provide professional Academic Life Coaching to high school and college students. I meet with students in-person in northern Calfornia and online in Calfornia and the United States. Resourcing parent and student feedback as well as my experience and training I create a learning plan to assist students to achieve their goals. I provide academic coaching to improve executive functioning skills in the areas of organization, motivation, time management, study skills, learning styles and managing ADD. I also help students with English, writing, and history. I facilitate the college application process with career guidance, writing college essays and managing the deadlines of college applications. I support parents as they help their children navigate the turbulent waters of adolescence. Academic Life Coaching includes helping students manage stress with grades, school and relationships, improve communication skills with parents, teachers, and peers, build confidence and academic self-esteem. I teach students how to manage anxiety about the future in healthy, productive ways, improve coping skills, and behaviors.
