Academic Profiling Tests (APT)

The APT is a collection of comprehensive aptitude assessments for 6 - 16 year olds. We are using an AI-powered platform that can compare a candidate's performance against pupils studying in UK independent schools and national academic standards. The APT can be used to identify learning gaps, demonstrate performance to future schools or monitor academic progress, or even as familiarisation for other reasoning-type tests such as UKiset, ISEB Pretest or 11+ entrance exams. It’s been created to provide a comprehensive assessment of a student’s academic skills and is a collaboration between experts in assessment, former headmasters and educationalists, using the highest quality teacher-written test questions and adaptive technology. How does the testing and profiling work? The Academic Profile Test uses sophisticated banks of teacher-written questions that have been validated and standardised against 10,000s of other students. Our test platform adapts to each candidate's unique abilities, to ensure the results reflect their skills in relation to other students of the same age, identifying any areas to work on. The APT can be delivered at home at a time to suit a child, with supervision from a parent or guardian. The tests are easy to administer and come with clear and comprehensive instructions. All that is needed is a consistent internet connection, a computer or laptop, a quiet space and about two hours to complete the assessment.
