Academic Success Center at SEV American College

Academic Success Center was founded in 2019 at SEV American College as a student-run project that aims to promote learning through peer teaching. Student tutors within this project regularly assist their younger schoolmates with their English and mathematics courses. Many prestigious universities around the world have well-known peer teaching programs, but this approach is not implemented into the learning environment of most high schools in Turkey. Therefore, it is a great pleasure for each and every SEV American College student to serve as pioneers, since this project is aimed to spread the culture of peer-teaching to other high schools in Turkey, therefore establishing an alternative, friendly learning environment where students learn from students.
