The Academy for International Development – Middle East and North Africa (AID-MENA) was originally established and registered in Cairo, Egypt in 2006, and then it was registered in the Kingdom of Hashemite of Jordan as a Regional Non-Profit Organization.
AID-MENA has a multidisciplinary team of more than 50 professional staff and consultants with a diversity of educational backgrounds, skills and experiences in various fields including development, economic, social, political, and environmental.
AID-MENA has an extensive network of more than 100 non-governmental organisations, academic institutions, civil societies, faith based organizations and privately owned business in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Europe and Africa regions.
AID-MENA adopts strategic participatory planning, evidence-based and action-oriented approaches to spread awareness and transfer knowledge on civic participation, socio-economic development, democracy and good governance, elections, career and skills building, community behaviour change, urban development, poverty alleviation, conflict resolutions and peace building programs.
