AcademySTAY | Building Brighter Futures for Former Foster Youth Every year, thousands of young adults age out of foster care without a safety net. Without stable housing, financial literacy, or community support, many face daunting odds: • Less than 4% of foster youth graduate college • 1 in 4 unhoused adults spent time in foster care AcademySTAY exists to change that story. We provide safe, affordable housing, life skills training, mentorship, and educational support for transitional-aged foster youth (18–24) in Sacramento. Our students aren’t just surviving — they’re thriving — pursuing degrees, building careers, and shaping their futures with confidence. But we can’t do this work alone.
