A key focus at Accelerate Abilities is bridging the gap in services for individuals transitioning from paediatric to adult care, particularly those aged 18-20. This transitional period often lacks adequate support, and we aim to fill this critical gap by providing continuity of care that addresses the unique needs of young adults as they move out of paediatric services. At Accelerate Abilities, we believe in a holistic approach to therapy, integrating various techniques and interventions to support our clients' physical, emotional, and social well-being. Our services include sensory integration, motor skills development, cognitive training, and adaptive strategies for daily living activities. We also offer comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify each client's strengths and areas for improvement. In addition to occupational therapy, we provide specialised speech pathology services to address communication disorders and enhance language skills. Our speech therapists collaborate with occupational therapists to ensure a cohesive and effective treatment plan.
