Accelerate helps innovators in Wales turn their ideas into solutions that can be adopted into health and care. Whether you’ve got an idea for a healthcare technology but aren’t sure what steps to take next, are in business and looking to expand your product range, or are an allied health professional who’s spotted a smart way to improve a process – we want to work with you. Accelerate is led by Life Sciences Hub Wales, in collaboration with Cardiff University, Swansea University, and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Rather than providing funding or grants, the programme offers access to the academic expertise, in-depth understanding of the life sciences eco-system, and cutting-edge facilities that innovators and entrepreneurs need to get their idea off the ground. Co-funded by the Welsh European Funding Office European Regional Development Fund, the Welsh Government’s Health and Social Services Group, Universities, Life Sciences Hub Wales, and health boards, Accelerate’s ultimate aim is to create lasting economic value in Wales.
