ACCESS is the Association for Community Care, Education and Social Services. Since 1992 we’ve been working with some of the poorest and most vulnerable children in Bangalore, to give them the best possible start in life. At ACCESS we want to break the cycle of poverty. By providing educational, emotional and social support to children and their families, we aim to give each child the opportunity to achieve their potential, equipped with knowledge of their value and dignity.
We do this not only by providing practical services and support, but by building relationships and helping to shape lives. Through our centres around the city, including our purpose-built facility in Kalyan Nagar, we provide a variety of programmes focused on nurturing children and supporting their families. Alongside our specific programmes, we work with a network of childcare providers, child advocacy groups, government agencies and community organisations, to ensure the best possible support for Bangalore’s most vulnerable children and their families.
