Access Ability Australia is the unique developer of creating access and inclusion into community through the use of Access Keys. Access Keys are customised accessibility guides that inspire and inform visitors with improved information. Access Keys are versatile to suit people of all abilities including people living with disability; physical and invisible, cognitive impairment, anxiety, people living with temporary disability, the ageing population, parents with prams and overseas visitors. Access Keys are written in a clear, concise and meaningful tone that help people process new concepts. For people with vision impairment, every Access Key developed is also available in large print format for FREE download from our library page. In collaboration with Vision Australia, Access Keys are also available in Braille or audio. Access Keys are fully endorsed by a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist as well as a Certified Practising Occupational Therapist. Access Keys provide visitors with increased confidence to attend new experiences by providing improved information including prediction, structure, orientation, sensory information and accessibility features at the click of a button. Access Keys are FREE for all to download! AccessAbilityAustralia also develop customised Communication Boards that include visual symbols designed to facilitate confident communication. AAA Communication Boards enable communication and comprehension for people who experience speech or cognitive loss due to stroke, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease, autism or other disabilities as well as people who do not speak English. Printed AAA Communication Boards feature contextualised topics and symbols to help people express their needs and help with the completion of tasks. Communication Boards empower visitors to be active and involved in making choices for activities and experiences on offer.
