AccessLab® IT Services

AccessLab is a start-up company based in Athens. It is a partnership of urban planners and geoinformatics engineers who are constantly trying to provide innovative services of smart cities in order to improve mobility and accessibility. The company is developing an Accessibility & Navigation Web GIS Portal for Athens, providing open data about curb ramps, sidewalks and crossings: https://webgis.accesslab.gr/ The user is able to locate himself in order to: • search for accessible routes • measure a distance • report an obstacle The company also develops geoportals and applications for: - mapping the accessibility, - navigating people in a wheelchair through the city, - facilitating urban movement, - supporting combined transport, - promoting smart mobility solutions, - enhancing citizen participation and - upgrading local government services to citizens and visitors.
