Accord Development Initiative (ADI) is a non-profit, non-partisan, and non-religious civil society organization (CSO) founded in 2020 by a dedicated group of professionals and volunteers committed to charitable endeavors. It is officially licensed to implement humanitarian and development programs. The organization’s primary objective is to empower and uplift marginalized communities by addressing their psychosocial and economic challenges in Ethiopia.
Currently, ADI has secured funding from the European Union through the lead agent WHH, in collaboration with the Development Expertise Center (DEC). The project is being implemented in the Bildigilu district, situated in the Benishangul-Gumuz Regional State, Ethiopia. Titled “Promoting Peaceful Coexistence Between and Among Host Communities, IDPs, and Returnees in Bildigilu, BGRS,” the initiative focuses on fostering harmony and stability within these communities.
As part of its ongoing project implementation, ADI is actively engaged in key thematic areas, including community dialogue, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution. Additionally, the organization addresses gender-based violence and child protection while conducting training programs on conflict management, mediation, and social cohesion
