Shifts in the way we do business and use technology combined with increasing diversity of the workforce are challenging the structure and operations of traditional accounting firms. It's time to start thinking differently and doing differently to not only keep up, but to stay ahead of the curve. The Accounting Innovators "SPARK" community exists to empower accountants as innovators and entrepreneurs by connecting them with people, tools and resources to shift mindsets and support change. SPARK is a place for forward-thinking professionals to connect, learn and take action around the challenges of all sizes facing accounting firms and the wider accounting profession. Membership is open to accounting and bookkeeping professionals and those working alongside them in the finance business ecosystem, e.g. financial planners, lawyers, mortgage brokers, insolvency practitioners, insurance brokers, etc. We collaborate openly with education providers, community ambassadors and other industry groups and organisations. It's our belief that by playing to our strengths and working together, we can better support accounting professionals in navigating the new normal and building the sustainable practices of the future.
