The idea of ACE Drone Services, LLC was initially thought of in 2016 when the owner, Christopher Ryan, while finishing his degree in Business Management/Entrepreneurship at Shippensburg University, was tasked to come up with a bona fide business and develop a business plan. This was no easy task since Chris had already spent 20 years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and continued in the airline trade well after retirement with Evergreen International Airlines until they filed for Bankruptcy December 31, 2013. Unsure of what direction to go, Chris decided to take advantage of the GI Bill benefits that he earned and finish his degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Having his own business was always a dream of Chris’ and he knew he didn’t want to work for someone else any more. Since Chris has always been somewhat of a tech junkie combined with his love of making things fly, drones fascinated him. After doing research and seeing the endless possibilities of drones, he knew this is what he wanted to do. So, Chris formatted a business plan and upon graduation in May, 2017 has “hit the ground running”, with an eye to the sky of course, and is not looking back. He plans to make ACE Drone Services, LLC a recognized and respected name in the industry as well as a business model for others to follow.
ACE Drone Services, LLC will Sell, Lease, Perform Maintenance and offer classes for individuals to obtain the FAA Part 107 Certification needed to fly commercial drones. In the brief time Ace Drone Services LLC, has been in business ADS has become a dealer for HSE-UAV and DJI. Ace Drone Services, LLC is pursuing customers that can utilize and benefit from the use of drones.
