ACE Mentor California Capital

ACE Mentor CA Capital formed in 2021 to serve students in the greater Sacramento area. The free after school program encourages high school students to pursue careers in architecture, construction and engineering (ACE) by bringing professionals from the industry into high schools to mentor students. Mentors for the program are recruited from local firms specializing in architecture, construction, or engineering and meet with high school student participants to teach and engage them in the ACE industry. The ACE Mentor Program of America is now the construction industry’s fastest-growing mentoring program and currently reaches over 8,000 students annually. In addition to teaching students about the world of design and construction, the ACE program also allows students to get hands-on experience by visiting the mentors’ offices, taking field trips to work sites and creating their own projects.
