ACFE Auckland Chapter

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is a global, professional association whose members are dedicated to fighting fraud. ACFE is headquartered in Austin, Texas, USA. From here the global parent entity supports the International chapters. The first New Zealand chapter was established in 1997 and New Zealand currently has chapters in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. The chapter members include both Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) and those involved with or have an interest in fighting fraud. We welcome applications to join the New Zealand chapters from people interested in fighting fraud, including accountants, internal auditors, fraud investigators, law enforcement personnel, lawyers, business leaders and educators. The NZ Chapters adhere to the rules and code of ethics as set by ACFE. Chapter meetings are held every second month with a focus on providing a relaxed and safe environment with excellent networking and knowledge sharing opportunities, combined with a short presentation from a high quality speaker from a fraud related field. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) headquarters in Austin, Texas, USA globally coordinates and manages all ACFE on-line study and qualification programmes. Your local chapter education officer we will provide you with support and resources, however you will need to join the US chapter to sit the CFE exams. Those who do not complete the exams can remain as associate members.
