The ACFE is the world's largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. Together with more than 85,000 members, the ACFE is reducing business fraud world-wide and inspiring public confidence in the integrity and objectivity within the profession. Based in Austin, Texas, the ACFE was founded in 1988 by preeminent fraud expert and author, Dr. Joseph T. Wells, CFE, CPA. Dr. Wells’ insight as an accountant-turned-FBI agent led to the formation of a common body of knowledge known today as fraud examination.
The Sweden Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE Sweden) was formed on the 24th of April 2020. Our members make up a diverse group of passionate anti-fraud professionals both from the private and public sectors and we provide a range of anti-fraud networking and training events in Sweden that are open to both our members as well as to non-members from a wide range of industries.
The mission of ACFE Sweden is to reduce the incidence of fraud and white-collar crime and to assist the Membership in fraud detection and deterrence. As a non-profit organization, our proceeds are reinvested in future projects so we can continue to offer the best anti-fraud training and advice for all levels of knowledge and understanding from beginner to expert. We splash some fun to make learning a bit more exciting.
