ACI Ottawa Student Chapter

The Student Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) - Ottawa is an organization that aims to stimulate students' interest in concrete technology and its applications in all areas of civil engineering. To achieve this goal, activities carried out throughout the year are divided into four parts including: • Promote the visibility of concrete research on and off campus; • Promote and represent the interests of the ACI while creating relationships between industry and students through meetings with employers during monthly seminars or other activities in the student chapter; • Develop awareness of ACI, ACI chapters and the consensus procedures by which the ACI operates; • Prepare students for their future careers with the various presentations given by industry experts.
