Ackermannbogen e.V.

Ackermannbogen e.V. is a non-profit neighborhood association with a focus on neighborhood, environment and culture. We see ourselves as a platform for community spirit and civic engagement in the residential area. At the same time as the Ackermannbogen development area was being built in 2000, committed (future) neighbors laid the foundations for the association's current structure. The association, which is run on a voluntary basis by a five-member board, currently has around 800 members (as of March 2023). Ackermannbogen e.V. is the sponsor and organizational umbrella for the NachbarschaftsBörse, KulturBüro, Hallensport, StadtNatur, Älter werden am Ackermannbogen (ÄlwA) and Forum areas. The main areas of focus and associated rooms can also be seen in the organization chart. We are funded by the City of Munich and are a member of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband and the Verband sozial-kultureller Arbeit (VskA). Through the above-mentioned institutions and areas, we maintain numerous collaborations with local stakeholders as well as with politicians and the administration.
