ACM-W ABESEC Chapter | Advancing Women in Computing The ACM-W ABESEC Chapter is a dynamic and inclusive community dedicated to supporting and advancing women in computing at ABES Engineering College. As part of the global ACM-W network, the chapter focuses on fostering technical excellence, leadership, and meaningful societal impact. Driven by the vision to build a future where every woman in computing feels confident, capable, and celebrated; the chapter empowers members to drive meaningful change and shape tomorrow's technology. Through a blend of mentorship, community outreach, and skill development, the chapter creates opportunities for women to grow both professionally and personally. From organizing technical workshops, speaker sessions, and coding events to leading community service initiatives, the chapter encourages members to lead with purpose and contribute to a more inclusive and socially responsible tech ecosystem. The chapter’s initiatives span three key pillars: Empowerment: Creating a support system through peer mentorship, leadership opportunities, and visibility for women in computing. Education: Delivering practical learning experiences through technical training, industry interaction, and hands-on sessions.
