ACRE

ACRE intends to facilitate research and making in an inclusive and open environment, and awards studio and research grants to national and international artists from various disciplines twice a year. Editions and publications are produced in collaboration with ACRE, while free events such as exhibitions, book launches, screenings, and talks complement the annual programme. In addition to the project space and residency programme, ACRE also runs a library. The ACRE library is an artists' book archive that reflects the practice of our guest artists and project partners. The growing archive shows cross-connections as a hypertextual structure—digital and analogue. Other theory and art publications in the collection complement the library. The online catalogue can be accessed via the website. This micro-setting enriches the exchange, development, research, and communication of art and critical theory.
