Founded by financial journalist Eveline Danubrata, Acrostics Asia aims to build connections through content, events and marketing. It was named after a type of puzzle whereby letters in each line connect to form a new word.
In a world of information overload, Acrostics Asia helps its audience to make sense of Asian business by connecting the dots and providing the local context. It seeks to capture the nuances in emerging markets, which are never black and white.
Acrostics Asia also offers the platform for people to make new connections or exchange ideas, as it believes that the biggest value lies in human relationships.
Eveline launched Acrostics Asia on 24 February 2025 after around 14 years of covering corporate news, spanning from equities to credit. She has the experience of working at global news agency Reuters and helping to build the Asian operations of a startup that was eventually acquired.
Eveline also drove marketing initiatives on various platforms, most of which were in collaboration with industry leaders, and was regularly interviewed by international media.
