THE STUDIO Our mission is the care and conservation of both historic and contemporary artwork, using a combination of modern methods and traditional techniques. The utmost care and attention is paid to each work of art. We work with private collectors, galleries, dealers, appraisers, insurance companies, museums, framers, and others to restore and conserve works throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and worldwide. ACT Art Conservation LLC is a large multidiscipline fine art conservation studio in the San Mateo, California. ACT Art Conservation LLC is proud to engage senior conservators with the highest level of training and certifications in their respective disciplines, as well as a fantastic studio manager to keep it all running smoothly. Our specialties: paintings, works on paper, rare books & archives, objects, outdoor sculptures, public art, frames and more. ACT Art Conservation LLC supervises and provides transport and installations where a conservator is needed. We fabricate and design custom museum quality mounts and displays, as well as provide the highest quality installation and standards of care in doing so. Our conservators collaborate and consult with a wide range of industries and provide both one-time and on-retainer services for consulting and project based collaborations.
