ACT212 Consulting and Training Center against Human trafficking and Sexual exploitation is a NGO domiciled in Bern. It has no political or religious affiliation. – – – Goals of ACT212 ACT212 combats human trafficking in Switzerland and abroad. ACT212 wants to: – increasingly be able to identify victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. – guarantee a comprehensive protection for victims. – secure an effective punishment of the perpetrators. 1. AWARENESS RAISING ACT212 raises awareness in Switzerland and abroad on the issue of human trafficking and sexual exploitation through speeches and information campaigns. 2. COUNSELLING AND TRAINING ACT212 offers counselling and trainings on the issue of human trafficking for NGOs and other interest groups and accompanies and advises their projects when given a mandate. 3. SUPPORT AND NETWORKING ACT212 operates a hotline that receives reports related to situations of exploitation and relays them to the appropriate governmental and non-governmental institutions. Existing institutions and services in Switzerland are thereby connected and strengthened. – – – ACT212 serves as contact point for questions and challenges with regard to the issue of human trafficking and offers support with its expertise.
