Actaea Consulting Engineers, established in 2021 in Patras, is a specialized engineering firm committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in the field of environmental hydraulics. With a strong scientific foundation and practical expertise, our team supports the development of resilient infrastructure and the effective management of water resources. We focus on the numerical modelling of offshore hydrodynamics and coastal processes, simulating complex offshore and coastal dynamics in order to support project planning and implementation. In addition, we design resilient and sustainable coastal protection works and port infrastructure, capable of withstanding environmental challenges while ensuring long-term efficiency and functionality. Our expertise also extends to the accurate numerical modelling of river flows and the design of flood control works, providing effective measures to protect both communities and natural ecosystems. Furthermore, we offer advanced hydrologic modelling of watershed systems, delivering comprehensive insights into them, that support integrated and sustainable water resource management. Actaea has undertaken a diverse range of projects, gaining the trust of clients in both the public and private sectors. Moreover, Actaea maintains close collaborations with dinstinguised academic institutions. Some of our most indicative projects are: -Study of erosion phenomena on the coastline of the Corinthian culf. -Development & Application on the Scaldiscoast (Telemac) Model Instruments. -Improvement and Maintenance of the port infrastructure of the municipal port fund of Aegialia. -Coastal Engineering studies at two beaches in Zakynthos island.
