ACTAI Global

ACTAI Global is a registered 501c3 comprised of a community of Athletes Conservationists Technologists Artists and Innovators. The community supports 1) Environmental Conservation and 2) Economic Empowerment via Entrepreneurship. Through the combined energy, social capital and financial support of our members, in the environmental category we have helped establish a Marine Conservation Area around the Abrolhos Islands off Western Australia in support of Mission Blue’s “Hope Spot” program, supported active conservation efforts to protect marine life with Sea Shepard, and helped conceptualize a technology framework in support of www.2030Vision.com and a data science foundation for the Ocean Plastics Leadership Network. In support of our second goal of “economic empowerment via entrepreneurship” we created the www.ExtremeTechChallenge.org (a worldwide startup competition that has grown large enough now to be it’s own registered 501c3 organization) fueling companies aligned with the 🇺🇳 United Nations 🇺🇳 Sustainable Development Goals: we also are key advisors on technology for the UNICEF GigaConnect.org program to bring broadband to every school in the world, and help drive educational programs for the UN in support of the UN Joint SDG Fund (to catalyze public / private capital partnerships) and the UNDP Labs program to provide a platform for the creation of new companies across the 40 nations where UNDP has established technology accelerators. ACTAI global also runs online and offline gatherings for our community. Our gatherings typically include a combination of bonding and collaboration amongst our members participating in “out of comfort zone” extreme sports activities as well as educational programming centered around conservation , technology , innovation and sustainability.
