ACT Bocconi - Bocconi University

ACT Bocconi is a students' representative group founded in 2015. Our core values are the freedom of individuals and the independence of the students. The view of the university we propose is one where students are individuals who can take responsibilities and contribute to the well-being of the community, walking along the hard path to become conscious citizens. This is why we are involved in the organisation of conferences to discuss about different topics to create a community which is aware of what's happening around the world. Some examples are the event we organised with the former greek minister Yiannis Varoufakis to discuss about the Greek crisis, the one with Oscar Farinetti to talk about "Made in Italy" and two events with Fabio Caressa and Giovanni Malagò about sports. Moreover, we believe in the unity of the Bocconi community and we are active in this field by organising events with the aim of improving teamwork and collaboration among all Bocconi students. An example is the HOLI Festival we organised in Ravizza park in 2016. In the end, we feel the need of improving the integration among students coming from different countries and cultures in order to create a stronger sense of internationalisation. In order to do so, we are collaborating with many students' clubs in Bocconi, in particular national ones, in the organisation of joint events held in English. All our ideas are proposed to Bocconi administration, faculty and students through the daily work of our representatives in the different collegial bodies, classes, courses and dorms.
