ACCELERATING THE PROGRESS OF LOCALIZING SDGS IN SRI LANKA! #ActionToImpact is a youth-led national campaign initiated by The Road to Rights, to accelerate the progress of localizing Sustainable Development Goals in Sri Lanka in supporting UN Decade of Action and contributing to the Global Week to #Act4SDGs. The goal of #ActionToImpact is to create a multi-stakeholder national platform to mobilize communities in bringing businesses, civil society, youth, government organizations, and academia in achieving SDGs by launching www.srilanka2030.lk platform. This platform would showcase their efforts in achieving SDGs and measure the progress of Sri Lanka's journey towards sustainability. In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). It's now six years on, and we have more work than ever to do. These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality, and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone. Join us!
