ActionAid Tanzania (AATZ) is an affiliate member of ActionAid International Federation which is a global justice organization working to achieve social justice, gender equality and eradication of poverty.
We started development interventions in Tanzania in 1998 as a cross-border initiative by ActionAid Kenya and later transformed into a full-fl edged Country Program in 2000.
Actionaid Tanzania is registered under Non-Governmental organizations Act, 2002 with registration no. 00NGO/R2/00031 and is under the governance of the National Board and the General Assembly.
