In the process of supplying these services collectively the members and associates employ an estimated 25-30,000 casual and part-time employees, making them one of the biggest employer groups. From 2021... - Activate brings a new level of communication to the industry, starting with the Activate Industry Report - a bi-annual publication which articles from industry experts and reputable institutions on relevant & timely topics in relation to Australian & global retailing. Podcasts with interesting and reliable people, unique roundtable conversations, social media updates, regular industry newsletters and recognition of valuable employees from within our teams. - Activate will provide an accessible training and professional development to merchandisers and sales teams, information sources for those employees, personal support programs and employment platforms. - Activate will also bring a new level of lobbying to the industry, allowing better understanding between business leaders of the services that can be provided and the value that they have in an expanding market place. - Most of all, Activate opens its doors to new members, including all of you present today.
