ActiveKidzShanghai (AKS) was established to provide health development programs for children, whilst also improving their physical and mental health. Using sport as the main vehicle for these programs, they help support children with four of life’s main building blocks which will benefit them inside and outside of school; - Physically - Psychologically - Socially - Technically AKS currently offer programs focusing on team sports such as soccer, basketball, ice hockey, volleyball and baseball. Team sports help support; - Improvements in a child’s health through increased activity levels. - Psychological wellbeing and the increased opportunity to develop life skills. - Ability to mix with other kids and the creation of teamwork. - An affective learning environment where a child’s brain can be energised and grow, with opportunities to make decisions and solve problems.
