Actome advances life science research and pharmaceutical drug development through our proprietary Protein Interaction Coupling (PICO) technology, enabling high-throughput and absolute quantification of proteins, protein interactions, and post-translational modifications with exceptional sensitivity and specificity. Founded in 2017 in Freiburg im Breisgau, a thriving pharmaceutical and biotechnological hub in southwestern Germany, Actome is a biotech startup at the forefront of proteomics and interactomics research. The unique capabilities of PICO technology have earned Actome several prestigious business plan awards in 2019, and the company was listed as one of the top 50 startups in Germany in 2020. In 2023, Actome was recognized as a high-potential startup by the European Innovation Council (EIC). We serve our customers by providing off-the-shelf molecular biology assay kits (PICO Kits) and a bioinformatics software for a seamless analysis of protein targets in biological samples.
